School Conveyance (School Bus / Van)
To ensure the safe travel, the school has its own fleet of school buses and vans, designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers.
For supervision and monitoring, a transport attendant is onboard throughout the journey.
All buses are equipped with fire extinguishers and GPS monitoring system.
LIBRARY
At Hill Valley, students’ world and their love for reading is enlarged.
Besides broadening their imagination and creativity the extensive library of Hill Valley aims to do the following:
- Support the educational aims of the school by making the library central and integral to the independent learning processes within the school.
- Provide a service which will enable the students to become more responsible for their own learning and help them sharpen their study skills.
- Enrich students’ curricular experiences by providing appropriate resources.
- Provides an environment for private reading and mental relaxation.
Laboratories
The labs at Hill Valley School cater to the scientific temperament of the students. The environment and setting of the lab nurture the intuitive and inquisitive minds of the children and enhance their test to make scientific enquiries.
Students and teachers use the labs regularly to have more in-depth knowledge and understanding of their relevant subjects. Hill Valley School has a well equipped Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Home Science and Computer Science labs.
SMART CLASS
Interactive multimedia classes enable the teachers to engage the students in the learning process and use the various digital resources such as animations, videos, diagrams and 3-D graphics with audio to bring interactivity right inside the classroom. It aids in the faster and accurate learning, besides making the concepts more interesting.
C C T V
CCTV cameras are helpful to check or prevent unwanted entries or unusual activities that can compromise the safety and security of the School.
With cameras installed in different places, parents are at ease about the security of the school environment.
ART INTEGRATION
Schooling at Hill Valley HSS goes beyond the classrooms into the wider creative world outside. Apart from a keen focus on academics, various creative activities are taught that engage the mental and intellectual power of our students.
We provide music, art and craft sessions for the students, which is conducted by trained personnel.
ABACUS TRAINING
The ABACUS training in such a simplified way that learning mathematics become easy to learn it will remove student’s fear of mathematics.
Our abacus approach is a language which plays with numbers to sense feel and know.
SPORTS
The Sports Curriculum at Hill Valley aims to provide a comprehensive program for development through physical, intellectual, emotional and social wellbeing of students.
It involves outdoor and indoor games. Outdoor games include football, basketball, cricket, badminton and athletics. Indoor games include chess, carrom, table tennis, yoga and aerobics.
PLAYGROUND
Playgrounds significantly improve the physical and mental health of a school community. It promotes sustained health outcomes at Hill Valley.
Three acres of land is dedicated for playground which creates a relaxed space for unstructured physical activities for students to become smarter, healthier and stronger.
HYGIENE & SANITATION
Highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained in our school. The school has a house keeping department with large number of attendants to ensure that no dust or dirt is found anywhere in the premises.
All wash rooms are equipped with sanitary taps and soap dispensers.
